A few examples projects I've worked on

Park Takeover @ NVIDIA GTC

Assignment: Coordinate logistics for first-time park takeover for Nvidia’s GTC Conference.

Outcome: Jumped in to produce and coordinate logistics of load in/out, support sponsor activations, manage ambassador staffing, liaise with security, and troubleshoot where needed. Over 10,000 attendees receiving meals, connected with sponsors and engaged at activations daily.

Sentilink @ Ficoworld

Assignment: Oversee Sentilink’s brand activation and support the sales team at FICOWorld.

Outcome: Executed flawless logistics to showcase the brand and enable the sales team to generate SQLs from the 9000+ attendees for a positive ROI.

Booths @ CiscoLIvE

Assignment: Oversee production on two booths (each over 40x40) for agency at CiscoLlive user conference in Vegas with over 20k attendees.

Outcome: Worked closely with clients to cast vision and keep logistics on track including design, fabrication, AV, electrical etc. Came in at/under budget with great look and strong attendance hitting KPIs.

Restaurant takeover @ Money 20/20

Assignment: Coordinate planning and logistics for the “home base” at a restaurant in the Venetian hotel for the Sentilink sales team at large fintech conference.

Outcome: A packed schedule of meals and meetings off of the show floor facilitated opportunities for the sales team to connect with partners and prospects attracting pipeline growth.

49ers “invasions”

Assignment: Sponsor five pep rally events for dedicated “Faithful” fans in opposing team cities the day before the game in collaboration with the San Francisco 49ers team.

Outcome: Promoted brand while providing eyewear and swag to over 5200 fans at events in 2022. Built positive associations and brand loyalty through the 49ers partnership.

CSR: vision Screenings

Assignment: Lead a series of vision screenings for children as a part of the “See Better, Live Better” campaign.

Outcome: Worked with nonprofits to organize and plan three events screening over 300 kids. Recruited and led dozens of company employees to serve participate and promoted volunteerism company-wide.

Show Booth Development

Assignment: Oversee the design, build and implementation new gaming activation unit and pop-up store to utilize at e-sports and gaming events.

Outcome: Worked closely with a cross-functional team of designers and agencies to create an engaging set up that can be configured a variety of ways and has been used at PAX East, Twitchcon, Dreamhack and more.

Music Festival ROAD WARRIOR

Assignment: Oversee a series of music festival activations to increase brand awareness and consideration.

Outcome: Along with a hard-working team brought Zenni on the road with a 20x30 trailer that served as a pop-up store for festival attendees at BottleRock, Firefly, Life is Beautiful and other fests where they could purchases, receive excellent customer service ,coupons and swag and learn about the brand and products.

Pax East Interview

Assignment: Represent the brand in interviews and networking in the gaming and esports space.

Outcome: Interview posted on the TechnicalFowl blog. See interview here.

Blackcattips

Assignment: Create a new “photo moment” for music festival activations that would inspire photos, promote Zenni.

Outcome: What wasn’t in the assignment was to give an artist a platform to share his works. I commissioned Georgia-based folk artist who goes by BlackCatTips to design a unique photo backdrop. We loved spreading his unique style across the country as we hopped from fest to fest.

“Blokz” Party, Chicago

Assignment: Oversee the ribbon-cutting of a newly refurbished city basketball court in partnership with Chicago Bulls.

Outcome: Partnered with Bulls and agencies to invite community members, local elected officials, Bulls players and legends, to attend. Covered on local media, this fun event gave kids and families the chance to meet Benny the Bull and receive a free custom basketball.

FoodTech Event

Assignment: Create an event for the San Francisco startup/tech and food communities about the future of FoodTech.

Outcome: Partnered to develop a panel discussion and pitch opportunities for FoodTech startups tackling issues around sustainability and upcycling. Great turnout, delicious food samples and interesting conversations about how to rethink food waste.

Emcee for major

donor weekend

Assignment: Serve as emcee for a 3-night major donor weekend for non-profit organization MAP International.

Outcome: Set the tone for the weekend (friendly, warm, welcoming), introduced speakers, kept the program on time and developed a fun ice-breaker trivia game that at one point got the whole room (60+ people) singing the Gilligan’s Island theme song.

Oktoberfest+Bingo

Assignment: Collaborate with a steering committee to create a new Fall-kickoff social event for young professionals.

Outcome: Transformed a blank event space to a Bavarian beer hall with beer, brats, pretzels and snacks. Because the committee wanted a structured way to meet other young professionals, developed a youthful, fun team bingo competition that allowed 50+ to interact and have fun.

Staff&Family Conference

Assignment: Elevate the annual 5-day staff and family conference (170+ attendees) to an experience that parents and kids would enjoy and anticipate the whole year.

Outcome: Created new age-appropriate programs for children and teenagers run by teams of dedicated volunteers. Introduced a family field day competition and talent show. Parents are now sure their children are well attended when they are in meetings. Staff kids say the conference is one of the highlights of their summer.

Event Blog

Assignment: Serve as an expert guest contributor on the blog for Attendify, an event app.

Outcome: Wrote several posts on event topics including the "5 Ways to Build Positive Relationships with Event Stakeholders."

Assignment: Upgrade the flagship collegiate student conference in appeal, quality, and reach.

Outcome: Drove rebranding and oversaw new social media outreach. Secured state-of-the art production team and recruited compelling speakers resulting in positive attendee feedback.

Urban Cowboy Party

Assignment: Create a unique birthday experience for native Texan in NYC.

Outcome: Ideated and realized an urban cowboy-themed event with real mechanical bull at the Ace Hotel. The only mechanical bull ever at the hotel. The staff were amused. Attendees had a blast.

Winter Staff Conference

Assignment: Restructure key internal conference to improve efficacy and staff feedback.

Outcome: Collaborated with key leaders to shift conference to primarily professional development. Secured speakers and created workshops that met felt needs of employees and furthered the goals of the organization. Put in place informal social opportunities to build camaraderie. Staff were better equipped and were grateful for opportunities to learn and grow.
